About BROOD
A collectible chicken world, built in the open — game first, crypto second.
In 2017, CryptoKitties proved something nobody expected: people would line up to breed and trade digital creatures simply because the genetics were real and the ownership was theirs. Then the space spent years building dashboards instead of creatures.
BROOD is the answer to that. An original world — no cats, no pixel grids — where every chicken is grown from its own deterministic DNA in your browser, where the coop is a living scene rather than a spreadsheet, and where the economy belongs to the players who breed better birds. You can play the whole thing with play money before you ever decide if it's worth real money.

If the game isn't fun with play money, no token or market will save it. The demo is the full game and stays free forever.
No signup, no gatekeeping
Your coop works the moment you arrive. No email, no wallet required, no profile to configure before the first egg.
Honest rarity, checkable math
Chickens come from deterministic genetics anyone can verify — rarity is measured, not asserted.
Non-custodial by design
In real-money trades the platform never holds funds: buyers pay sellers directly in one transaction they sign themselves.
Collecting over speculation
We talk about genes, lineages and collections — never about returns. If you're here to get rich, this is the wrong coop.
Built in public
Costs, mistakes and decisions are documented as they happen. The build log is the whitepaper while there's nothing to whitepaper yet.
