No. BROOD is a collectible game — the value for players is the collecting, breeding and the surprise of genetics, the same way people collect cards or paint miniatures. Chicken prices are set by players in a market, which means they can go down as well as up. Never spend money you can't afford to lose on a game, and never treat a digital chicken as a savings plan. The demo economy exists precisely so you can enjoy the whole game without touching real money at all.

BROOD is play money — the demo currency. You get a free wallet balance, can refill it in Settings for free, and it can never be bought with or exchanged for real money. It exists so the entire game is learnable at zero risk. A BROOD price on a listing is a game price, nothing more.

Two places, clearly marked REAL — SOL: the shop's real eggs (priced in USD, paid in SOL at the live exchange rate shown before you sign) and the real player-to-player market, where sellers price birds in USD and buyers pay in SOL. In a real sale, one Solana transaction pays the seller directly and the 3% fee to the platform — the buyer signs it in their own wallet. The platform never takes custody of funds first.

No. The real market is non-custodial: money moves player-to-player in a transaction the buyer signs — the server builds the payment it can verify but holds no wallets and no balances, so there is no pool of funds to withdraw, freeze or hack. Game state lives in your browser; the shared database only stores marketplace listings and delivery records.

There is no tokenand no smart contract today — and we'd rather say that plainly than dress up a roadmap. Real sales use plain SOL transfers signed by the buyer. If a $BROOD token is ever launched, its supply, emission and rules will be published first, and any contract address will be announced on this site and on @broodclub. Be suspicious of any BROOD token sold elsewhere in the meantime — it would not be ours.

Honestly: there is nothing to audit yet. No on-chain contracts of ours exist, and the non-custodial design means there are no custody funds to audit. The economics and mechanics you can already verify yourself — the genetics are deterministic and publicly checkable. If contracts ship later, an audit will come before they hold anything of value.

Verify it. Every chicken is the deterministic output of its seed — the Genome page has a verifier that runs the same math in your browser: paste any seed and it reproduces the exact chicken, its genes and its rarity, live. “1 in a million” claims are hard rules in code, not marketing copy.

No signup, no email, no tracking profile. Your flock lives in your browser's local storage; the shared database stores only what the market needs (listings, delivery records) and, if you opt in, a push-notification subscription. Details in Privacy.

BROOD is an app you install from the browser: on iPhone, open brood.club in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; on Android use Chrome's install banner. Once installed it runs full-screen, offline-friendly, and can send you notifications (egg ready, bird hungry, chicken sold) — turn them on in Settings.

Running the game: hosting, the shared market, push delivery — and nothing else. It is charged only on real-money player sales, inside the payment transaction itself, so you can always see exactly what the seller receives and what the platform takes.
